A quick, hearty meal

This is what we had tonight, based on what we could find in the kitchen, and it turned out to be perfect!

Brown rice (1 part rice to 2 parts water, simmer 40 minutes)
Steamed broccoli
Steamed baby red potatoes (8 potatoes - 25 minutes)

Rice and potatoes (vegan) buttered
and all three lightly salted
